Room 17 Blog

We are using blogs both to communicate with parents and to show students progressions with all subjects.

This is a very steep learning curb for me as I have done very little with regards to blogging. 

Anne Cato, sat down with me today and showed me what an effective tool the blog can be both communicating with parents and to show on going work and assessment. 

Anne explained that as a member of the teaching staff at St. Mary's I was expected to have on going reflections are expected to be posted on the Registered Teacher Criteria blog and evidence of learning activities within the class is expected to be shared on the class blog. ……...is expected to participate in ongoing Professional Development and to have regular ongoing discussions with staff particularly around the Teaching as Inquiry project.
